Greetings!

My name is Svetlana. I am currently based in Belgrade, Serbia.

My love for the theater once helped me realize that the art of makeup and character creation is what truly makes me happy. I’ve always been fascinated by the power of transformation - that moment when a person becomes a character, and their appearance begins to tell a story and convey an emotion without a single word.

I am inspired by mysticism and romance, layered fabrics, unusual silhouettes, and characters with a rich history and emotional depth. I feel a kinship with dark, cinematic aesthetics: vampires, forest witches, mystical creatures, and the 'dark romance' style.

I don’t just work with makeup; I work with the entire atmosphere - curating details, textures, and accessories to create a cohesive visual image.

In addition to makeup and SFX, I am building a collection of costumes and props for rent, and I handcraft many elements myself, including corsets for my projects.

For me, it’s important that a person doesn’t just see themselves in makeup, but truly feels like a character - stepping into a different story, mood, or state of being.

And sometimes, I just want them to look in the mirror and like themselves a little bit more.
